Oil on canvas.
170 x 170 cm
This piece was born from a desire to create a space where happiness could be felt without narrative, where colour alone could transport, soothe, and uplift.
The composition invites viewers to lose themselves in a kaleidoscope of emotional energy, is it a wild-flowing garden, a deconstructed rainbow, or simply the sensation of dreaming in colour?
DREAMING IN COLOUR
BEL PARSONS
Bel is a self-taught abstract impressionist artist with a practice spanning over 25 years.
Favouring oil paint for its richness and texture, Bel also incorporates a variety of mixed media, intuitively layering materials to echo the inspiration behind each work. Her creative process is fluid and instinctive, shaped by her emotional response to the moment.
Bel's background in both Arts and Psychology brings a unique depth to her practice. For Bel, art is not just something to be viewed, it's something to be felt, and her goal is simple, to create work that moves people.
