FIONA COULTHARD
Fiona is a UK-born, Brisbane-based artist whose work captures fleeting moments in nature and explores the fluid interplay between light, movement and human interaction with the natural environment. Her formal training spans Fine Art studies in Newcastle College of Art (UK) and extensive studio practice at the Brisbane Institute of Art. She has undertaken studio classes under many inspiring mentors such as Lionel Playford (UK) and Warren Palmer (Brisbane). Now painting full-time, Fiona has showcased her work at the Brisbane Institute of Art, Kay West Studios, and B.Lowe Art Gallery, with pieces held in private collections in the UK and Australia.
