LISA PERRUZZA

Lisa is a Brisbane-based mixed media artist who uses shapes, colours, mark-making and lines to create contemporary abstract paintings to complement your home, office or workspace.

 

Born and raised in the picturesque Lake District of Northern England, my path as an artist can be traced back to my childhood and the influence of my late mother. She always encouraged me to paint and draw as a child, and to furhter my passion with my education into art and design school. I obtained my artist training at Cumbria College of Art and Design before moving to Australia in 2004.

I have a passion for all forms of art and design, travel and culture. I draw inspiration for my work from my surroundings, whether that is snorkelling at the beach, walking in the forest or discovering a new city. The beauty in the shapes and forms in nature and architecture inspire me, and my art is a continuing journey and evolution of my experiences.

I work with a variety of mediums, from acrylic, ink, impasto, oil pastels, pen and pencil. Being creative brings me great joy, that I have the pleasure of sharing throughout the  world. My original and print works adorn the homes of collectors from Australia, Europe, Asia and the US.
