I've spent a lifetime in Brisbane painting or crafting works referencing my ongoing explorations of the strength of emotion and memory. My work is figurative or narrative and often references childhood or literature. I am inspired by the power of connection through the language of painting. Colour is my muse, layered, washed, removed, blended and reapplied. I hope to invoke an emotional response from the viewer who shares a connection through the language of memory.
