CATHRYN CROWE

Cathryn Crowe is a Meanjin/Brisbane base abstract artist. Her approach values the importance of observation and reflection. Bold colour choices as well as textural elements, fine lines and layering often feature in her work. Much of her inspiration comes from the natural world and her travels. She has been a finalist in several art prizes in recent years including the Lethbridge Small Scale Art Award, Ipswich Art Awards, Revival Emerging Art Prize and the Du Rietz Art Awards. She participates in the annual Brisbane Grammar School Art Show and end of year show at Side Gallery.
